My Dork Origins...

My kids were watching old Muppet show episodes on DVD tonight as I did housework, and every time I heard Kermit say "Yaaaaaaaa-a-a-ay!" I just grinned. I love classic Kermit. But please do not bring him in as a guest host for anything on real t.v. anymore. It's not fun for anyone.
I chose this picture because it also includes the original Dork. Was anyone more quintessentially Dorky than Grover? Happily oblivious to the chaos he left in his wake, he really really WANTED to get it right, it just never worked out quite how he planned. Did I just describe myself? Did I just describe you?

I have always felt like Grover, or Gonzo. I loved the Muppet show.

I also loved the Muppet show when I was a kid. I loved the grump old men in the balcony, Gonzo, and Animal. And Miss Piggy of course!

My younger brother had a Muppets Record with the song Over The Rainbow... I still love that song.

I think I would have to say that my favorite childhood dork was Gilligan.:D
